Chewable Vitamins
People always say, "Health is wealth". No wonder people today are looking
for ways to be healthier. Vitamins is one avenue that people took for better health, and chewable vitamins are
getting popular today as they provide ease of consumption and yet vitamins that they need.
Different group of people will require different types of vitamins. Let us look at the various needs for each group.
Chewable Vitamins for Children
Children in general does not need any vitamin supplements. They receive the required supplement
from breast-feeding and from all the milk powders. In fact, most children under the age of 7 or 8 will not need
vitamins supplements. Children under these age group will usually need calcium and iron and they receive these from
the milk that they drink everyday.
Vitamins would be recommended for older kids, since many of them would have stopped drinking
milk or turned into picky eaters. We recommend that they consume multi-vitamins and not
products with specific vitamins (eg. Iron supplment or Calcium Supplement). You see, specific vitamins are usually
given under the recommendations of the doctors due to special needs.
However, we still do see parents giving vitamins to their kids. There are some reasons and you

Chewable Vitamins For Adults
Adults will require general dose of various vitamins as they are usually quite sufficient
in their dietary intake. However, if you are still interested in multi-vitamins, most of the products in the stores
are good enough. I know that some adults also take children vitamins as they provide the same amount of
vitamins.
If you check the instructions in the children's vitamin, they usually indicate dosage for
children AND adults. :) But if you are still interested to know a little more about adult's vitamins, here's

Chewable Vitamins For Elderly
I believe that the older generations would require supplements as it is shown that the older
people will have harder time absorbing nutrients in the food they take. The key nutrients required include Vitamin
D, Vitamin K and Anti-Oxidants.
Vitamin D is required as it helps absorb Calcium, which helps them to maintain strong bones.
Vitamin K is requires to prevent Alzheimer's disease and Antioxidants will help lower the chances of cancer.
Vitamin A, C and E are good examples of Antioxidants.
Chewable Prenatal Vitamins
Vitamins for pregnant women will require specific nutrients. The key nutrients required for the
first 3 months of pregnant would be Folic Acid. Folic Acid is crucial for the early development of the embyro.
After 20 weeks of pregnancy, they would also require to take in more Iron for the purpose of
building red blood cells. Iron should be taken together with Vitamin C as Iron can cause potential
constipation.
Zinc and Calcium also are needed for overall supplement for the baby. Read in details about
